Single wall: implications

Non-adhesive tubing mechanically clamps the support without sealing it. Suitable for sheathing, identification, and insulation repair. For a junction requiring watertightness — crimped terminal exposed, wet bulkhead penetration — use adhesive tubing: adhesive version available in the same diameter.

Choosing the right diameter

The Ø 3 mm must fit over the widest point to be covered, and the Ø 1 mm after shrinking must be smaller than the support so the tubing clamps. Between these two values, the 3:1 ratio provides a comfortable adjustment range.
