Detailed description
Detailed description
The Blue Sea MRBF 125A terminal fuse is a protection solution for high-current marine electrical circuits. Designed for direct installation on the battery terminal, it secures high-power equipment such as inverters, bow thrusters, or windlasses.
Protection and integration
Unlike classic inline fuses requiring separate fuse holders, the MRBF (Marine Rated Battery Fuse) concept integrates the fuse directly onto the terminal. This design optimizes space, reduces the length of unprotected cables, and simplifies wiring. Its 125-amp capacity makes it suitable for medium to high-power applications, offering a compact alternative to bulkier ANL or blade-type fuses for similar current ratings.
Marine installation safety
This type of fuse is an essential safety component, preventing overcurrents that could damage equipment or, in the worst case, cause fires. In the event of overload or short circuit, the MRBF 125A fuse interrupts the circuit, protecting the entire electrical system and connected devices. It is easily replaceable, ensuring quick and efficient maintenance at sea.
