Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for protection of marine electrical systems, the Blue Sea Systems 120V 30A Dual ELCI flush-mount panel (part # 3117-BSS) integrates two 120V 30A 30mA ELCI main circuit breakers. This device provides overcurrent and ground-fault protection for shore-power connections, meeting normative requirements for onboard electrical safety.
Robust Construction and Watertightness
The enclosure is made of glass-reinforced polycarbonate for durability in marine environments. Dimensions: 152mm (W) x 152mm (H) x 102mm (D) for the housing; 192mm (W) x 188mm (H) x 120mm (D) overall. A clear cover allows direct visibility of breaker status, while the overlapping cover increases joint robustness and protection. A seamless, overmolded, oversized PUR gasket ensures complete panel watertightness. Operating temperature range: -40°C to 85°C. Weight: 3.18 kg.
Features and Compliance
The panel includes green LEDs indicating the 120V AC "ON" state and red LEDs signaling "Reverse Polarity" of the 120V AC. It features backlit circuit-label positions and includes labels for source selection, reverse polarity, ELCI, and panel voltage identification. The Blue Sea Systems 120V 30A Dual ELCI panel meets ABYC E-11 standards for the entire vessel’s shore-power protection when used with a main ELCI breaker and mounted within 3 meters of the shore-power inlet. Compliance with E-11.11.1 has been mandatory since January 1, 2013. Cover screws and hardware are 10-32 stainless steel. Required mounting hardware: 1/4" diameter, #12 (6 mm).
