Connectivity and performance
This backbone cable features 18 AWG power conductors, specifically sized to minimize voltage drop over long network distances—a critical feature for extended installations or setups with numerous devices. It uses 5-pin micro M12 A-coded DeviceNet connectors, identifiable by their yellow color for easy installation. Data transmission operates at the standard NMEA 2000 baud rate of 250 kb/s, with 12V DC power supply.
