Detailed description
Detailed description
The HO7RN-F 3Gx10 mm² cable from Nexans' TITANEX® range is designed for electrical installations subjected to harsh environmental conditions. This flexible rubber cable, compliant with standards EN 50525-2-21, HD 516, and IEC 60245-4 type 66, stands out for its ability to operate in demanding industrial environments, including construction sites, harbors, or outdoor events where cables are exposed without protection.
Technical performance and robustness
With its flexible bare copper construction (class 5) and cross-linked elastomer (EPR) insulation, the HO7RN-F 3Gx10 mm² cable offers AG3 mechanical shock resistance and high flexibility, with a dynamic bending radius of 6 to 8 times the outer diameter (114.6 mm to 193.6 mm) and a static bending radius of 4 times the outer diameter (76.4 mm to 96.8 mm). It supports a rated voltage of 450/750V for mobile use and 0.6/1kV for fixed installation. The permissible current in open air, at an ambient temperature of 30°C and a conductor temperature of 90°C, reaches 86 A, with a single-phase voltage drop of 4.0 V/A.km.
Resistance to harsh environments
This cable features a black cross-linked elastomer jacket that provides good resistance to water, oils, and chemicals, as well as UV protection for outdoor installations. Its fire performance is classified as Eca according to EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 and it is flame-retardant (IEC 60332-1, C2), limiting flame and smoke propagation. The Nexans TITANEX HO7RN-F 3Gx10 mm² maintains its properties with a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C in continuous service. It is lead-free and compliant with RoHS 2011/65/EU directive.
