This cable ensures reliable data and power transmission in marine and RV environments thanks to its flexible and robust construction. It complies with NMEA 2000 standards and can be used as a short backbone cable in certain network configurations.
Design and Technical Specifications
This 5-meter cable features flexible conductors: 24 AWG signal conductors and 22 AWG power conductors. Some sources mention 0.8mm² power conductors for low voltage drop, compliant with ABYC and US Coast Guard requirements. It is equipped with standard NMEA 2000 Micro-C 5-pin connectors (female to male) with black couplers, simplifying installation and color-coded for easy identification.
