Detailed description
Detailed description
The CZone SI signal interface (part number 80-911-0013-00) serves as a central component for integrating external sensors and switches into a CZone digital switching and monitoring system. Designed to extend NMEA 2000 network capabilities, it enables centralized and automated control of circuits based on various input types.
Connectivity and input versatility
This module features 6 configurable inputs, providing flexibility for diverse marine applications. It accepts signals from traditional switches (negative, open circuit, 0-35V DC) for output control, as well as alarm triggers such as a high water level switch. The interface also supports industry-standard tank level sensors (0-5V, 10-180 Ohms, 240-33 Ohms) and general voltage or resistive signals. Specific input ranges are 0 to 1000 Ohms for resistive signals and 0 to 34 V DC for voltage signals. Each input includes a status LED indicator for easy monitoring. This versatility distinguishes it from basic input/output modules that handle only a single signal type, positioning the SI interface as a data aggregation solution for the CZone system.
Integration and technical specifications
The CZone SI signal interface integrates with the NMEA 2000 network, enabling transmission of standardized data such as fluid, temperature, and pressure information to multifunction displays and other compatible devices. Its dimensions are 100 x 156 x 42 mm with a weight of 281g. With IPX5 temporary immersion protection, it is suitable for marine environments. The module complies with EMC standards IEC EN 60945, IEC EN 61000, FCC Class B, ISO 7637-1, and ISO 7637-2, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and robustness against electrical interference. It ideally complements existing CZone systems, such as Touch 10 displays or combined modules, by serving as a gateway for non-NMEA 2000 sensors.
