Empty dome with base for i6 — Ø700 × H720 mm

The empty dome FURUNO IT-S2-6110 is a protective enclosure designed for marine satellite antenna systems, including the Intellian i6 series. Built to withstand harsh marine environments, this dome provides a containment solution for communication or television satellite equipment aboard vessels.

Design and Dimensions

With dimensions of 700 mm in diameter and 720 mm in height, this dome is specifically adapted to house parabolic antennas up to 60 cm in diameter, such as those in the Intellian i6 systems. Its structure is designed to integrate the entire antenna system, including associated electronics. The dome and its base are engineered to support the weight of the systems they protect, such as Intellian i6 antennas, which weigh approximately 20 kg.

Marine Protection

This dome ensures protection of internal equipment against marine elements. It contributes to the IPX6 compliance of the antenna system it houses, guaranteeing resistance to powerful water projections. This protection is critical for maintaining the operability of satellite systems in varied sea conditions. The dome is designed to operate within a temperature range of -15°C to 55°C and for storage from -25°C to 70°C, meeting the requirements of Intellian i6 systems.
