Designed for precise and reliable navigation, the FURUNO GP340/NMEA2000 active antenna integrates a 75-channel GNSS core. This receiver supports multiple satellite constellations, including GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS (L1), Galileo (E1/E5), QZSS (L1/L5) and BeiDou (B1/B2). For enhanced accuracy, it is compatible with SBAS augmentation systems such as WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN.

Accuracy and Integration

The FURUNO GP340/NMEA2000 delivers positioning accuracy of less than 3 meters and a fast 10 Hz update rate, ensuring rapid and accurate updates for connected systems. It features standard NMEA2000 connectivity, with an optional NMEA0183 interface via an additional cable. Power requirement is 12-24VDC and the unit is rated IP56, making it suitable for demanding marine environments. A 6-meter NMEA2000 cable is included to simplify installation.

Thanks to its multi-constellation support, this GPS antenna ensures high redundancy and accuracy, enabling fast and reliable position corrections even in challenging conditions or near obstacles. The GP340/NMEA2000 integrates with Furuno NavNet series (TZtouch, TZtouch2, TZtouch3, TZtouchXL) and other navigation systems requiring high-precision GPS data. It automatically selects the best available satellite combination. Its compact and robust design ensures long-term durability, with a GPS rollover date set for January 1, 2041. Note that the GP340 does not provide magnetic variation data.
