FRU-CF-H16-02M POWER CABLE — FCV800

The Furuno FRU-CF-H16-02M power and data cable is specifically designed for the Furuno FCV800 fishfinder. At 2 meters long, it provides a reliable connection for power (12–24V DC) and NMEA0183 data, essential for the unit’s operation. This cable features a single-sided connector for the FCV800’s PWR/KP/NMEA0183 port, with pinout defined for power signals (DC-P, DC-N) and data signals (TD-A, TD-B), and includes shielding.

Integration and performance with the FCV800

Proper integration of this cable is critical to leveraging the FCV800 fishfinder’s capabilities. The unit features an 8.4-inch color LCD screen with 800 cd/m² brightness, supports CW frequencies of 50/200 kHz and CHIRP frequencies from 40 to 225 kHz. The FCV800 accommodates 600W or 1kW transducers and includes two transducer ports for simultaneous use of CHIRP and CW channels. It is waterproof to IP56 standards and weighs 2.4 kg with bracket.

It also includes features like ACCU-FISH™ for fish size estimation, bottom discrimination (rock, sand, gravel, mud), color palette extension, and white line. Configurable alarms and a TLL (Target Lat/Lon) output are available to mark fishing areas on compatible Furuno chartplotters. The FCV800 includes integrated Wi-Fi, a pulse repetition rate (PRR) up to 3,000 per minute, and target detection range from 2 to 1,200 meters.
