The FURUNO ST-02PSB through-hull sensor is designed for combined measurement of water speed and temperature. Made of plastic, it is intended for through-hull installation and includes an 8-meter cable with a 6-pin female connector.
Accurate and Robust Measurement
This sensor uses a paddlewheel system for speed measurement, covering a range of 0 to 40 knots, and a thermistor for water temperature, with a range of -10°C to 40°C. Its plastic design resists corrosion in saltwater environments, UV exposure, and impacts. The through-hull diameter is 51 mm, facilitating installation on various non-metallic hulls.
Integration and Compatibility
The ST-02PSB features a 6-pin connector for direct integration with Furuno's marine electronics ecosystem, including GP series chartplotters and NavNet systems. It also supports an NMEA 0183 output, enabling extended compatibility with other navigation equipment. The sensor is compatible with 12/24V DC power systems and weighs approximately 0.86 kg. Its insert locking mechanism is designed for secure attachment.
