The FURUNO TZT16F NavNet TZtouch3 is a 15.6" multifunction touchscreen display designed for marine navigation. It integrates a GPS receiver, a CHIRP fishfinder, and Wi-Fi connectivity, providing a complete solution for onboard information management. This MFD features a fully glass-covered display and a quad-core processor for smooth operation.

Display and performance

The TZT16F has a 15.6" IPS multi-touch TFT color display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A typical brightness of 1000 cd/m² ensures good visibility even in bright sunlight. The quad-core processor delivers fast responsiveness when using functions and displaying charts.

Navigation and integrated fishfinder

Equipped with an integrated 72-channel GNSS (GPS/WAAS) receiver, the TZT16F offers 10 m (GNSS) and 3 m (WAAS) accuracy. The integrated dual-channel TruEcho CHIRP™ fishfinder operates at CW frequencies of 50/200 kHz and CHIRP frequencies from 40 to 225 kHz. Its power can be extended up to 2-3 kW with an optional Deep Impact DI-FFAMP amplifier, allowing connection to 5-10 kW transducers with a BT-5 (the DI-FFAMP’s actual output power is 3 kW). Display modes include ACCU-FISHTM, A-scope, ResBoostTM, bottom composition estimation, and temperature graph.

Connectivity and advanced features

The TZT16F offers extensive connectivity with IEEE802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, two 100Base-TX Ethernet ports, an NMEA2000 port, and an NMEA0183 output. It also includes two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output (1080p FHD) and an HDMI input, two composite video inputs (NTSC/PAL), and a micro-SDXC slot. The intuitive user interface uses swipe gestures and single-touch menu options. It supports MapMedia mm3d charts (raster, vector, satellite photo, 3D data), C-MAP, and Datacore by Navionics, with features like Satellite PhotoFusion™ and 3D navigation. The system is compatible with Furuno NXT and X-Class radars and integrates data synchronization via TZ Cloud, PIN code locking, and tracking of 100 AIS targets.
