Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for high-freeboard boats and offshore navigation, the Garmin Force Kraken 75" (190 cm) electric trolling motor offers advanced propulsion and positioning. This model is positioned as the most powerful trolling motor on the market, with a thrust of 45 kg (100 lbs) in 36 V configuration and 36 kg (80 lbs) in 24 V, in accordance with ISO 13342. It complements Garmin’s Force Kraken range, which also includes versions with 48-inch and 63-inch shafts, catering to a wide variety of boat sizes.
Propulsion and integrated detection technology
The Force Kraken 75" features a brushless motor, ensuring extended runtime, increased torque, and consistent power. This technology also minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing clear sonar returns for improved fish and structure detection. The GT56UHD-TR transducer is directly integrated into the motor, providing Ultra High Definition (UHD) sonar views of what lies beneath and alongside the boat.
Positioning accuracy and system integration
This trolling motor integrates Garmin’s Anchor Lock virtual anchoring technology, known for its precision. With integrated GPS multiband and AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System), heading maintenance and positioning are optimized, even in rough sea conditions. The system wirelessly connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters, allowing motor control and route or track following directly from the screen. A floating remote control is included, offering speed and heading adjustments, as well as "point-and-steer" (Gesture Steering) functionality.
Design and modularity
The Force Kraken 75" is equipped with a robust composite shaft and components designed to withstand harsh marine environments, including advanced protection against corrosion and saltwater. Its pivot-style bracket facilitates installation, even when bow space is limited. The motor is also compatible with LiveScope™ sonars (sold separately) and allows the transducer cable to pass through the shaft, contributing to cable protection and a tidy deck. Control can also be performed via a compatible Garmin connected watch.
