This sheet groups recent GPSMAP 1523/1623 units to compare available screen sizes and the need for an integrated fishfinder.

The standalone chartplotter version targets setups with external modules or navigation-only use. The XSV versions include fishfinder functions directly.

Skysat advice: on a large screen, also validate the radar, autopilot, and camera views planned: the XSV choice is only relevant if the transducer will actually be connected to the display.
