Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for centralized control of marine LED lighting, the Garmin Spectra LC102 LED control module allows you to manage LED lights using compatible Garmin chartplotters, compatible Fusion stereo systems, or the ActiveCaptain app. This compact and rugged controller supports RGB, RGBW, and CRGBW LED lighting, including speakers, subwoofers, and marine wake tower speakers from brands like Fusion and JL Audio.
System integration and flexibility
The Spectra LC102 module integrates with the NMEA 2000 network, facilitating communication and control. It features a 6-wire LED output capable of delivering up to 2 amperes of current. An audio synchronization feature allows LED lighting to be harmonized with music played on a compatible Fusion stereo system. Users can assign LED outputs to specific audio zones and create custom lighting groups and scenes for different areas of the boat. An optional momentary switch can be connected to turn lighting on or off without using the multifunction display, stereo, or app.
Design and technical specifications
With dimensions of 113 x 52 x 47 mm and a weight of 83 g, the Garmin Spectra LC102 module is rated IP66/IP67, ensuring resistance to marine environments. It operates within a temperature range of 0° to 50° C. The device supports an input voltage of 10.8 to 16 Vdc for 12 V systems and 21.6 to 32 Vdc for 24 V systems. It uses a 2 A slow-blow fuse and maintains a 20 cm safety distance from compasses. Installation requires 16 AWG wiring for power and 20 AWG for lighting, with a recommendation to mount on a flat, vertical surface with connectors facing downward.
