The Lowrance ActiveImaging 3-IN-1 depth sounder with a 1.8 m (000-14814-001) cable is designed to provide a complete underwater view. It integrates CHIRP, DownScan Imaging, and SideScan Imaging technologies into a single unit. This setup simplifies installation while delivering detailed images of the seafloor and structures.
Integrated Sonar Technologies
This depth sounder combines traditional CHIRP sonar with DownScan and SideScan imaging capabilities. For CHIRP sonar, it operates at frequencies of 83 kHz (medium CHIRP) and 200 kHz (high CHIRP), allowing a maximum depth of 305 meters. The DownScan and SideScan Imaging modes use frequencies of 455 kHz and 800 kHz. In DownScan mode, the maximum depth is 91 meters. In SideScan mode, the side scan reaches 91 meters at 455 kHz and 46 meters at 800 kHz, providing extended coverage for detecting structures and fish.
Design and Performance
The ActiveImaging 3-IN-1 depth sounder features a 1.8-meter (6-foot) cable and a 9-pin connector for direct connection to compatible Lowrance displays. Its design includes an optimized polymer to minimize signal loss and separate elements for transmission and reception in SideScan mode, improving image clarity and range. The FishReveal™ feature overlays CHIRP sonar fish arches on detailed DownScan views, making it easier to distinguish fish from surrounding structures. The depth sounder is compatible with Lowrance HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon, and Elite Ti2 displays. It supports a maximum operating speed of 48 knots for traditional sonar and 9 knots for DownScan and SideScan modes. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -15°C to +55°C and to be stored between -30°C and +70°C. Mounting options include transom and transom-skirt mounting.
