The Lowrance ActiveImaging™ HD 3-in-1 (HW) - SideScan Fish Reveal transducer is designed to provide detailed underwater vision and precise target identification. This model integrates a high-frequency CHIRP sonar with a wide beam (200 kHz), DownScan HD imaging (700 kHz and 1200 kHz), and SideScan HD imaging (455 kHz and 1075 kHz). This "HW" (High/Wide) configuration is particularly suited for extended coverage in shallower waters, distinguishing it from the "M/H" (Medium/High) model, which prioritizes depth with the 83 kHz. The transducer is directly compatible with Lowrance HDS PRO displays. For Lowrance HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon, Elite FS systems, and Simrad NSS, NSSevo3S, NSS evo3, NSX, and GO series displays, a Sonar S3100 module is required.
High-Definition Imaging and Targeted Identification
Thanks to SideScan and DownScan HD imaging operating up to 1.2 MHz, the ActiveImaging HD 3-in-1 (HW) delivers clearer images of underwater structures and fish schools. The CHIRP sonar optimizes target separation, allowing individual fish to be distinguished. The FishReveal™ technology simplifies data interpretation by overlaying CHIRP sonar fish echoes onto high-resolution DownScan images. A major innovation in the ActiveImaging HD range is the extension of FishReveal™ to SideScan, facilitating fish target recognition in structural images on the sides of the boat—a feature that typically requires the S3100 module to be fully utilized.
Technical Specifications and Marine Reliability
This transducer offers a maximum depth of 305 meters in sonar mode and ranges of 46 meters (700 kHz) or 27 meters (1200 kHz) for DownScan, and 91 meters (455 kHz) or 46 meters (1075 kHz) per side for SideScan. It provides bottom tracking up to 48 knots in sonar mode and 9 knots for imaging modes. Weighing 1.2 kg, with a 7.6-meter cable and a 9-pin connector, it is designed for transom or transom-skirt mounting. Its operating temperature range of -15°C to +55°C and storage range of -30°C to +70°C, combined with CE and UKCA certification, ensures stable performance and durability in marine environments.
