Mechanical Design and Durability
This mount kit features a 360-degree breakaway design, a mechanism that absorbs shocks and allows automatic realignment of the motor. This characteristic helps protect the system from impacts during navigation. The stowing and deployment process is facilitated by dual-action gas springs, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. When stowed, the motor automatically aligns to rest flat and securely on the mount. An integrated stabilizer bar is also included to reduce unwanted motor movement in choppy waters, contributing to overall stability. Note that this kit is supplied without side covers.
