Detailed description
Detailed description
The MANTAGUA double side light 2NM Starboard (Green 112.5°) (reference 00050) is an LED navigation lighting solution designed for the most demanding marine environments. Part of the MANTAGUA "Competition Lights" range, this light stands out for its robust construction and reliability. It is specifically intended for the starboard side, emitting green light over an arc of 112.5° with a range of two nautical miles (2NM).
Design and technical performance
The MANTAGUA 00050 integrates low-power LED technology with optimized power consumption and high luminous intensity, ensuring optimal visibility compliant with navigation standards. Its compatibility with 12/24VDC power supply makes it versatile for integration into most onboard electrical systems. Its compact dimensions facilitate installation, particularly on railings or the transom of vessels. A black cover is included with the light, providing an aesthetic finish and additional protection.
Robustness and durability of the competition range
This MANTAGUA side light differs from standard models, such as the starboard side light (reference 00032), by its increased protection level. While the standard model weighs 90 g, the 00050 from the "Competition Lights" range weighs 140 g while maintaining the optical characteristics (range, angle, color) of the standard model. This 50 g difference indicates full epoxy-resin encapsulation, offering superior resistance to shocks, vibrations, and immersion. Its IP67 waterproof rating confirms its ability to operate reliably even in the most exposed marine conditions, minimizing maintenance requirements. This level of robustness makes it a preferred choice for applications where reliability and longevity are critical, outperforming conventional lights in extreme situations.
