Designed for marine electrical systems, the Mastervolt CombiMaster 24/2000-60 120V is a compact and lightweight solution combining a pure sine wave inverter and a smart battery charger. It is suitable for powering heavy and sensitive loads, ensuring stable and silent electrical power from batteries.
Inverter and charger performance
This unit integrates a 2000 W continuous power inverter (at 40 °C / 104 °F, power factor 1) with a pure sine wave output at 120 V AC, configurable for 50/60 Hz. It can handle a peak power of 3000 W for 30 seconds and 4000 W for 5 seconds, allowing the startup of demanding equipment. The inverter’s maximum efficiency reaches 93 %. In standby mode, power consumption is 30 W, reduced to 10 W in energy-saving mode, and below 1 mA in off mode. The integrated battery charger delivers a maximum charge current of 60 A (at 40 °C / 104 °F) with a 3+ stage UoUo charging characteristic, configurable for flooded, Gel/AGM, and Lithium LiFePO4 batteries. The charger’s input voltage range is 90 to 140 V AC, with a maximum input current of 21 A (adjustable). The recommended battery capacity is 120 to 320 Ah (based on Gel batteries).
Integration and advanced features
The CombiMaster 24/2000-60 120V features an automatic AC transfer system, ensuring smooth switching between the generator or shore power and the inverter output, maintaining a constant power supply. The Power Assist function prevents circuit breaker trips by adding power from the batteries when the external AC source is weak. The unit is compatible with CZone, MasterBus, and NMEA 2000 networks for extended monitoring and control via MasterBus SmartRemote, EasyView 5, CZone/NMEA 2000 Touch 5 or Touch 10 displays, or third-party multifunction displays. It has IP23 protection for vertical mounting and ignition protection per SAE J1171/ISO 8846. Its operating temperature range is from -25 °C to 60 °C (-13 °F to 140 °F), with power derating above 40 °C and shutdown above 60 °C.
