Detailed description
Detailed description
The galvanically isolated PC-Link interface from Mastervolt is an essential diagnostic and configuration tool for embedded electrical systems. Designed to connect a computer (via RS232 serial port) to Mastervolt equipment (via RJ12 port), this module enables full utilization of the MasterAdjust software. It provides installers and experienced users with the ability to precisely adjust critical parameters such as voltage, current, cutoff thresholds, and charge algorithms.
Galvanic isolation protection
Unlike standard communication interfaces, this version of the PC-Link features complete galvanic isolation. This technical characteristic is crucial in marine or mobile environments, as it prevents ground loops and destructive electrical interference between the computer and the vessel's power network. The interface requires an external 6 to 30V DC power supply to operate autonomously and safely.
Connectivity and Mastervolt compatibility
The kit includes all necessary wiring for immediate integration. It comprises a 1-meter DC power cable, a dedicated programming cable for the Masterlink BTM1, and a standard cable for other Mastervolt equipment compatible with QRS232. TTL logic levels are strictly managed (5V for high state, 0V for low state) on the transmission (Txd) and reception (Rxd) pins, ensuring perfect data integrity during MasterAdjust parameter settings.
