Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico BC-12 cradle charger is specifically designed for wirelessly charging Simrad HS40 and B&G H60 wireless VHF handsets. This inductive charging dock ensures reliable and secure power for your handset, an essential element for keeping your VHF communications active during offshore navigation.
Wireless Charging Technology and Marine Certification
Unlike traditional chargers with metal contacts often prone to salt corrosion, the BC-12 cradle uses wireless power transmission technology operating in the 0.13125 to 0.17660 MHz frequency band. It strictly complies with maritime safety standards EN 60945:2002 and EN 301 417, ensuring excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and perfect integration without disrupting other onboard electronic equipment.
Optimized Onboard Installation
This charger is an ideal replacement or extension part for compatible Simrad and B&G VHF systems. Thanks to its included mounting template, it easily installs on a bulkhead, chart table, or in the cockpit. Its robust mechanical design firmly holds the HS40 or H60 handset even in rough seas, while ensuring continuous and secure charging.
