Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico StructureScan 3D through-hull stainless steel transducer delivers detailed three-dimensional underwater imaging. Compatible exclusively with Lowrance and Simrad StructureScan 3D modules, it transforms the perception of underwater structures, fish, and terrain beneath the boat.
Advanced Imaging Technology
This transducer uses multi-beam technology to generate high-resolution underwater images. It integrates SideScan and DownScan functions, enhancing the clarity of existing 2D images. The SideScan provides lateral coverage up to 183 meters on each side of the boat, for a total range of 366 meters, while the DownScan reaches depths of 92 meters. The transducer operates on two frequencies: 455 kHz for greater depth and distance, and 800 kHz for better target definition. It allows marking objects at speeds up to 56 km/h, with optimal imaging speed at 16 km/h or less.
Design and Integration
Constructed with a robust stainless steel dome and a one-piece shaft, this transducer is designed to withstand demanding marine environments, including electrolysis and constant immersion. Its polyurethane coating provides additional protection. The low-profile design minimizes drag. The transducer can be flush-mounted on the hull or with the included fairing block to optimize performance, especially at planing speeds. It also integrates a temperature sensor. Power requirements are 12V DC, with an input voltage range of 10V to 17V and a transmission power of 500W WRMS (4000W WPK). The transducer cable measures 7.6 meters (25 feet) and features a 12-pin connector for connection to the StructureScan 3D module.
