Detailed description
Detailed description
The XSONIC Airmar SS175H-W (12°) through-hull transducer is a high-performance CHIRP sonar solution for underwater detection. Designed with a stainless steel housing, it features a 12° tilted element specifically suited for hulls with a deadrise angle between 8° and 15°.
Advanced Sonar Performance
This model operates on a High CHIRP frequency band from 150 to 250 kHz, with a total bandwidth of 100 kHz. With a power output of 1 kW, it delivers a maximum depth detection capability of up to 152 meters (500 feet) and includes a fast-response water temperature sensor. Its wide and consistent 25° beam ensures extended coverage for target detection and precise fish separation, even in shallower waters.
Design and Compatibility
The SS175H-W (12°) is compatible with all hull materials, including fiberglass, wood, and metal. Its Tilted Element™ design allows for a near-flush installation, with the internal element oriented horizontally to optimize echo return. For installation, a 95 mm (3-3/4") hole is required for fiberglass or wood hulls, and a 105 mm (4-1/8") hole for metal hulls. The transducer comes with a 9 to 10 meter cable and weighs approximately 2.7 kg. It features a 9-pin connector and incorporates Xducer ID® patented technology. It is recommended for sport and commercial fishing boats and is compatible with Lowrance HDS Gen3 and Simrad NSSevo3 multifunction displays.
