Detailed description
Detailed description
The HO7RN-F 3G2.5 TITANEX cable by Nexans is a flexible rubber-sheathed cable designed for the most demanding applications. This H07RN-F cable delivers high technical performance, including exceptional flexibility (class 5) and superior mechanical resistance to impacts (AG3 classification). Its robust design allows it to withstand harsh conditions, including industrial environments, construction sites, harbors, and mobile installations such as cranes or machine tools.
Compliance and technical performance
Compliant with international standards (EN 50525-2-21, IEC 60245-4 type 66, NF C32-102-4) and RoHS directive 2011/65/EU, this cable features cross-linked elastomer insulation and sheathing. This composition provides good resistance to chemicals, oils, vibrations, and "good" sealing capability. It is also UV-resistant, allowing outdoor installation without additional protection. Its fire reaction is classified as Eca per EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 and it is flame-retardant (IEC 60332-1, C2), limiting flame and smoke propagation.
Electrical and mechanical characteristics
The HO7RN-F 3G2.5 TITANEX cable includes three bare copper conductors with a 2.5 mm² cross-section, including a green/yellow earth conductor. It supports a nominal voltage of 450/750V for mobile uses and 0.6/1kV for fixed installations. Its current-carrying capacity in open air is 36 A, with a single-phase voltage drop of 16.2 V/A.km. The maximum conductor temperature in service is 90°C, with an allowable short-circuit temperature of 250°C. Its operating temperature range is from -25°C to 55°C. Minimum bending radii are 84.0 mm in dynamic conditions (6 to 8 times the outer diameter) and 42 mm in static conditions (3 to 4 times the outer diameter), providing adaptability for various installation configurations.
