Specifically designed for integrating the Carbowind HR anemometer-vane sensor, the NKE trapezoidal Carbowind tube (reference 90-60-537) ensures precise and stable installation at the masthead or on the side. Made of carbon, this tube provides the lightness and rigidity required for a component exposed to marine stresses, ensuring the durability and accuracy of wind measurements.
Design and Integration
The trapezoidal shape of this tube is a key feature, allowing the Carbowind HR sensor pole to be locked against rotation once installed. This design prevents any mechanical play that could distort apparent wind data, a critical factor for NKE navigation systems. The internal diameter is adjusted for perfect compatibility with the Carbowind HR pole, ensuring a flawless fit.
