NMEA 2000 micro network starter kit
The CABLE-STARTER-2 reference includes the basic components to build or extend a small NMEA 2000 backbone network with micro connectors. As per the product description, the kit contains a power input, two male terminations, two T-connectors, two 2 m micro NMEA 2000 cables, and one 10 m micro NMEA 2000 cable.
Onboard use
This type of kit is used to create the backbone of a data network between compatible instruments, sensors, and displays. The NMEA 2000 topology must be respected: bus power supply, terminations at the ends of the backbone, and connection of devices via suitable drop cables.
