Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine A80296 is a 400 mm Fistmic adapter cable for remote mounting of a compatible VHF handset/combined unit. It converts a 12-pin male connector on the radio side to an 8-pin female connector on the Fistmic side.
Raymarine VHF usage
This cable is used when the Fistmic handset must be installed away from the radio unit or a compatible VHF front panel, for example on a console, secondary station, or cockpit. It avoids custom wiring and maintains a clean connection between the handset and the Raymarine equipment.
Compatibility check required
Distributor sources list it for the Raymarine Ray60/Ray70 families and for handsets supplied with Ray63/Ray73 depending on configuration. Before ordering, verify the exact VHF model, existing connector type, and intended use: A80296 is the 12-to-8-pin adapter, while A80297 is the 12-to-12-pin variant with passive speaker output.
