Designed for direct integration with Raymarine Axiom multifunction displays, the bow and starboard through-hull plastic transducer pack 12° RV-312 RealVision 3D provides a complete solution for advanced underwater imaging. This system is specifically suited to hulls with a deadrise angle of 8 to 15 degrees, thanks to its 12° tilted transducers.
RealVision 3D technology for detailed imaging
The RV-312 integrates Raymarine’s RealVision 3D technology, combining DownVision, SideVision, and high-frequency CHIRP functions for a three-dimensional view of the underwater world. Unlike traditional transducers that provide a 2D view, RealVision 3D enables users to explore structures, fish schools, and seafloor relief with unprecedented clarity and perspective. This enhanced imaging capability is critical for fish detection and navigation in complex areas, offering an advantage over classic 2D transducers such as the CPT-100 or CPT-200. The RV-312 represents an evolution of traditional CHIRP transducers, approaching the performance of the RV-200 transom-mounted models but with a through-hull installation.
Installation and system compatibility
This pack includes two through-hull plastic transducers (port and starboard) with a 12° angle, two 2-meter cables, a Y-cable, and an 8-meter extension, enabling direct connection to Axiom displays. The direct connection simplifies installation compared to systems requiring an external sounder module. The RV-312 is optimized for Raymarine’s LightHouse 4 software, ensuring seamless compatibility and integration with the latest features of Axiom, Axiom+, and Axiom Pro displays. AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) calibration is also supported for automatic correction of the boat’s trim, ensuring a stable and precise RealVision 3D image even in rough seas.
