Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding marine environments, the RULE RL016 24V submersible bilge pump offers high drainage capacity and features prioritizing reliability and safety. This model is ideal for vessels requiring rapid and efficient evacuation of large water volumes. With a flow rate of 14000 L/h (3700 GPH) at 0 meters discharge head, it maintains significant performance, delivering 10977 L/h at 1 meter and 9274 L/h at 2 meters.
Performance and Marine Safety
The RULE RL016 pump operates on a 24V DC power supply, with a current draw of 6.9 A (maximum 10 A) and requires a 15 A fuse for optimal protection. It is fully submersible and includes a thermal cut-out (TCO) to protect the pump and the vessel’s electrical circuit. This model does not include an integrated non-return valve. For RULE pumps, backflow prevention is typically present on models from 360 to 1100 GPH. The turbine housing is vented to prevent air pockets in complex plumbing installations.
Durable Design and Easy Maintenance
The RULE RL016 pump is built for durability with stainless steel shafts and marine-grade watertight wiring, providing protection against rust and corrosion. It is designed for quiet operation with minimal vibration and includes flameproof protection. The snap-lock removable strainer base simplifies cleaning of the strainer and turbine cavity. This model meets or exceeds CE and ISO 8849 standards. Capable of running dry for short periods, the motor is optimized for efficiency and long service life. Its dimensions are 184 mm in height and 124 mm in diameter, with a 38 mm (1-1/2") outlet. Within the RULE range, the 3700 GPH (14000 L/h) model positions itself as a high-capacity pumping solution, outperforming lower models like the 1500 or 2000 GPH and comparing to 4000 GPH pumps for high-volume drainage requirements. It represents a balanced choice for 24V systems.
