Designed for mounting satellite TV antennas, the Scanstrut SW-SM-18-A mount is compatible with Intellian i4, i5 models, as well as the Raymarine 45STV. The mount is made from a single-piece GRP (fiberglass-reinforced polyester) molding, ensuring high strength and corrosion resistance.
Optimized Integration and Installation
The Scanstrut SW-SM-18-A features a 360 mm (14.2 in) mounting plate diameter and a 200 mm (7.9 in) base diameter. Its design reduces the overall footprint of the satcom antenna by up to 60%, allowing installation flexibility on narrow radar arches. Mounting hardware is concealed inside for a clean finish, while antenna fasteners remain external for easier installation and maintenance.
Protection and Reliability
To protect electrical components, the mount includes a factory-installed watertight seal and gland systems, ensuring a sealed installation. It can be used with satcom shims to achieve a horizontal mounting surface on inclines from 0° to 12°, which is relevant for powerboats. The design was developed in collaboration with Raymarine engineers and tested and approved by the brand.
