The Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI-BLK multiple horizontal cable gland is a professional-grade sealing solution designed for passing multiple cables up to Ø15mm through a deck or bulkhead. IP68 certified, it ensures watertight protection against water infiltration, even when submerged. Made from high-strength UV- and impact-resistant plastic, it is a durable choice for demanding marine environments.
Installation and compatibility
The system consists of a base, a cover, a sealing gasket, and a rubber plug to be drilled. Installation requires a Ø44mm through-hole and drilling 6 pre-drilled mounting holes. The rubber plug can be easily drilled using a drill and a bit matching your cable diameter. The product ships with #6 self-tapping screws for soft materials (plywood) and M5 screws for hard materials (fiberglass, metal). A cutting template is included in the installation manual for precise positioning.
