Detailed description
The Simrad GO9 XSE pack with Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer and Halo20+ radar provides an integrated navigation and underwater detection solution for a variety of vessels. This system combines an intuitive multifunction display, advanced sonar capabilities, and pulse-compression radar for enhanced situational awareness.
Simrad GO9 XSE multifunction display
The Simrad GO9 XSE features a 9-inch multi-touch screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and 1200-nit LED backlighting for optimal visibility. Its iMX61 single-core processor ensures smooth operation. Equipped with a 10Hz 32-channel GPS receiver compatible with WAAS, MSAS, EGNOS, and GLONASS, it delivers position updates ten times per second. Connectivity includes a Micro-C NMEA 2000 port for engine monitoring and autopilot control, plus a 5-pin Ethernet port for radar and SiriusXM (North America). Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable mobile mirroring. The GO9 XSE supports CHIRP, DownScan, and ForwardScan sonars (with compatible transducer) and is compatible with Simrad Broadband and Halo Pulse Compression radars. It supports various charting options, and this pack is compatible with C-MAP Discover charts.
Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer
The Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer delivers detailed underwater views through a combination of Lowrance CHIRP sonar, SideScan Imaging, and DownScan Imaging technologies. It operates on CHIRP mid/high frequencies (83/200kHz) and 455/800kHz for SideScan and DownScan. Maximum depth reaches 305m (1000') in traditional sonar (200kHz), 91m (300') in DownScan, and 91m (300') in SideScan at 455kHz (46m at 800kHz). Featuring a 9-pin connector and 7.6m cable, it offers transom, flush-mount, or strut mounting options. FishReveal™ simplifies fish identification by overlaying CHIRP arches onto high-resolution DownScan images.
Halo20+ radar
The Halo20+ radar extends detection range up to 36 nautical miles from a compact 20-inch dome. It uses advanced pulse-compression technology with beam sharpening. Its ultra-fast 60 RPM rotation speed is available up to 1.5nm, providing near real-time views. The Halo20+ integrates VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology, which color-codes targets to indicate relative motion, aiding collision avoidance without manual selection. It supports simultaneous dual-range operation, MARPA target tracking (up to 10 targets, 20 in dual range), and dedicated radar modes (Harbor, Offshore, Weather, Birds). InstantOn™ startup provides immediate radar coverage from standby mode. Power consumption ranges from 17 to 29W in operation and 3.9W in standby (at 13.8V DC), and it is IPX6 certified.
