Detailed description
Detailed description
The Simrad HALO 2000 & 3000 power and Ethernet cable (reference 000-15769-001) is designed to provide essential connectivity for Simrad HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 radar systems. This single cable transmits both power and Ethernet data, simplifying the installation and connection of the radar antenna to the multifunction display or the vessel’s NMEA 2000 network.
Integrated Connectivity for HALO Radars
This 30-meter cable allows flexible installation of Simrad HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 pulse-compression radars. The HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 are solid-state systems offering 50-watt and 130-watt power outputs respectively, with detection ranges up to 72 nautical miles for the HALO 2000 and 96 nautical miles for the HALO 3000. The cable supports data transmission required for advanced radar features such as Beam Sharpening, ZoneTrack™, and VelocityTrack™.
Technical Details and Features
The 000-15769-001 cable features a single connector at one end for connection to the radar, and stripped wires for power at the other end, along with an Ethernet connector for integration with the vessel’s system. The HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 radars are compatible with Simrad NSS and NSX multifunction displays, as well as R2009 and R3016 radar control units. The RI-50 power system for these radars is compatible with 12V or 24V systems, requiring proper connection via this cable.
