The connection kit for the SIMRAD MKII autopilot pump is a pre-assembled hydraulic solution designed to simplify the installation of Simrad MKII autopilot pumps (models 1 to 5) on Mercury Verado steering systems. This kit is compatible with o-ring (ORB) steering configurations, including SeaStar-type installations, ensuring direct and precise integration.
Technical specifications of the connection kit
The kit includes 1/4-inch hydraulic lines with a maximum nominal pressure of 2800 PSI for most hoses. The return line typically has a diameter of 3/8 inch and a maximum nominal pressure of 2250 PSI. The hoses are supplied in pre-cut lengths with specific fittings, such as 9/16-18 ORFS to 9/16 UNF, 9/16-18 ORFS to 9/16-24 ORFS, and 11/16-16 ORFS. Connections are sealed with o-rings via ORFS fittings, supplemented by straight adapters from 1/4 NPT to 9/16-24 UNF.
