Detailed description
The SK-KIT-FORCE-CURRENT-10MM2-2M kit includes the components required to extend the power cable supplied with a Garmin Force Current motor on a fishing kayak.
It includes 2 m of red marine-grade HI-FLEX 10 mm² cable, 2 m of black marine-grade HI-FLEX 10 mm² cable, four tinned copper 10 mm² terminals for M8 studs, and the necessary red and black adhesive heat-shrink sleeves for terminations.
The kit is supplied as a set of components to be cut, adjusted, and crimped during installation. It is not a pre-assembled harness. The two Rebelcell ANEN SA50 connectors and the 40 A circuit breaker are sold separately.
Selected sizing
For a battery located in the bow of a fishing kayak, the estimated cable run to the stern is approximately 3.5 m. The supplied Garmin cable measures 1.65 m; adding 2 m extension per polarity provides the necessary installation margin. At 40 A under 25.6 V, this cross-section corresponds to an estimated voltage drop of approximately 2 % across the complete circuit, excluding connectors.
