Sleipner eVision E130 24 V, 130 kg, tunnel Ø 250 mm

The Sleipner eVision E130 (E130/250T-24V) tunnel thruster is designed to optimize the maneuverability of 13 to 19-meter (42 to 63-foot) boats. This thruster delivers 130 kg (284 lbs) of thrust at 24V and 21V, thanks to a 6-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with brushless technology.

Technology and Performance

Featuring an inverter for variable speed control, the Sleipner eVision E130 ensures smooth and silent maneuvers, eliminating the noise associated with traditional on/off thrusters. Its PMSM brushless motor delivers high energy efficiency, allowing extended operating times and improved performance compared to conventional DC models. With a power output of 5.1 kW (6.8 hp) and a current draw of approximately 270A, it is protected by a recommended ANL 250 fuse.

Compact Design and Advanced Features

This thruster stands out for its compact and lightweight design, up to 50% lighter and 40% smaller than previous models, simplifying installation and reducing structural load. It incorporates Q-Prop™ technology with its five-blade skewed propellers, reducing noise levels by up to 75% in controlled environments. The S-Link™ CAN-based control system ensures integrated communication with other Sleipner equipment via compact, waterproof, and color-coded connectors. The PRO Thruster system includes a "hold-function" for simplified docking.

Safety and Maintenance

The Sleipner eVision E130 integrates safety features such as ignition protection (compliant with ISO 8846), overheat protection with automatic shutdown, galvanic isolation, and secure startup. Its base is permanently sealed and lubricated with a durable mechanical seal, providing water intrusion protection and requiring minimal maintenance. The unit is splash-proof (IPx7) and can be installed as a bow or stern thruster. Its dimensions are 285 × 258 × 387 mm (L × W × H) with a weight of 29 kg and a tunnel diameter of 250 mm.
