Detailed description
Detailed description
The Veratron VMH 70 is the 7-inch display from the premium VMH series. It targets installations where you want to consolidate a large volume of engine and boat data into a customizable touch interface, with fast startup and readability suited for outdoor environments.
7-inch touchscreen and embedded bridge
Veratron announces a 7" IPS TFT display readable in sunlight, a mineral glass front, an aluminum/PBT housing, and IPX7 protection when cables are connected. The integrated NMEA 2000 bridge allows reading analog sensor data and alarms without necessarily adding a separate converter.
Engine data, analog inputs, and J1939
The VMH 70 can be configured to display up to four engines via NMEA 2000, or two engines via J1939 or analog inputs. Inputs include six resistive, two frequency, three voltage, two capacitive, and one alarm input. Outputs cover NMEA 2000, EasyLink, and alarm output.
Modern Solution A vs. a separate bridge
For an engine refit, the VMH 70 can be a consistent alternative to a separate analog bridge when the customer also wants to replace the display. However, before publication, the Skysat supplier price, target margin, and final catalog collection must be confirmed.
