Designed for autonomous and hybrid energy systems, the MultiPlus-II 48/4k5/55-32 GX from Victron Energy integrates a pure sine wave inverter of 4500 VA (4.5 kVA), an adaptive battery charger of 55A, and an ultra-fast AC transfer switch. This model stands out for its integrated GX device with a 2x16 character display, enabling local or remote monitoring and control via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) app and portal. It provides a complete solution without requiring external GX hardware. Available in 230V, it is suitable for European installations.
Advanced features for optimized energy management
The MultiPlus-II 48/4k5/55-32 GX ensures uninterrupted AC power thanks to its UPS function, automatically switching to inverter mode in less than 20 milliseconds in case of a grid failure. The PowerControl and PowerAssist functions prevent overloading of limited AC sources, such as generators or shore power connections, by reducing battery load or supplementing power from the battery during peak consumption. This model is a central component for energy storage systems (ESS), supporting features like Dynamic ESS for real-time energy optimization. It can be configured for parallel operation (up to six units) or three-phase operation (up to six sets of three units).

With its two AC outputs—one main output with "no-break" function and a secondary output active only when an AC source is present—the MultiPlus-II 48/4k5/55-32 GX offers installation flexibility.
