The VMHU mast cable, 36m long, part number BGH030006, is a B&G connection cable for VMHU-type vane anemometers (Vertical Masthead Unit). With a length of 36 metres (118 feet), it is designed for tall-masted sailboats, enabling long-distance connections.
Connection and data transmission
This 36-metre length allows installation in a single continuous section, from the sensor at the masthead to the navigation system, without splices or intermediate extensions. The cable transmits data from the vane anemometer to B&G instruments.
