Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for marine wastewater management systems, the Whale DV5630 bypass valve is a component with a 1-inch (25 mm) pipe connection ensuring flexibility and reliability in pumping circuits.
Design and materials
Made from acetal and Teflon® for the main body, with a PTFE polyester handle, this valve resists wastewater, seawater, and bilge water. It complies with USCG regulations for Type 3 sewage treatment systems, ensuring integration into installations meeting current standards.
Features and use
The Whale DV5630 allows a single pump to draw from two different locations or to direct the discharge of two pumps to a single destination. It facilitates diverting flows to a holding tank, overboard discharge, or a deck drain connection. Its conical sealing surfaces and precision manufacturing ensure positive, odor-free closure, eliminating leaks and odor issues. Internal components lubricated with Teflon® ensure smooth and consistent lever operation. Note that this valve is not designed for installation in pressurized systems.
