The B&G Hercules® processor is the central brain of your instrumentation system, specifically designed to provide the highest-precision data to racers and performance navigators. As the successor to the renowned H5000 series, it integrates a quad-core ultra-fast processor that guarantees instant calculations and flawless responsiveness, essential for making critical race decisions.
Advanced performance and calculations for racing
Hercules® goes beyond simple data collection. It offers a complete suite of advanced functions, including wind data correction based on heel and boat movements (requires an external motion sensor) for increased reliability. Racers can leverage polar tables to display performance targets and optimize speed. The system also integrates intelligent starting line functions for perfect positioning. Detailed navigation data logging, with the ability to add custom events such as sail changes, enables in-depth post-race analysis via the B&G app.
System integration and connectivity
Designed for maximum flexibility, the Hercules® processor seamlessly integrates with B&G Nemesis™ displays, Vulcan™ or Zeus® chartplotters, and Triton™ 2 displays. Configuration is done via a modern, intuitive web interface, accessible via Ethernet or the B&G app. Its extended connectivity is designed for the most complex setups, including multihulls requiring dual sensors (wind, rudder). For even greater needs, the system can be expanded with the Hercules® Expansion module.
