Garmin Reactor™ autopilot remote control

The Garmin Reactor™ remote control is designed to provide remote operation of your Garmin Reactor™ autopilot system. It allows helmsmen to maintain control of heading and autopilot functions from any location on the boat.

The Reactor™ remote control allows you to control the autopilot up to a range of 14 meters from the main helm of your system.

The remote control features a 30.2 mm diameter transflective MIP (memory-in-pixel) screen with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. This screen ensures optimal readability even in full sunlight.

The remote control is made of glass-filled nylon. Its ergonomic and robust design ensures durability that meets marine requirements.

The remote control has an IPX7 waterproof rating. This means it can withstand accidental immersion up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.

Select the Menu button > Compass calibration. Follow the on-screen instructions. It is recommended to calibrate the compass outdoors, away from objects that influence magnetic fields such as vehicles or buildings.

Yes, the action buttons (1 to 3) on the remote are pre-programmed with default or custom actions, but you can reassign their functions via the connected control head or chartplotter.

Once the autopilot is engaged:

To adjust the heading by one degree to port or starboard, press the left or right arrow key. To adjust the heading in predefined tacking increments (default 10 degrees), press the double left or double right arrow key. Hold to apply cumulative adjustments. To steer the rudder to port or starboard, hold the left or right arrow key and release.
