Skysat designed and integrated the entire onboard electronics and electrical systems, optimizing weight, power consumption, and redundancy for an offshore Mini foiler.

  • Autopilot: full Madintec system with full-option licenses (wind, autopilot, super-pilot, super-trim).
  • Instrumentation: complete B&G H5000 and Garmin setup (ultrasonic wind transducer masthead, heel angle, depth/speed, compass, GPS, touchscreen, and marine network).
  • Wireless load sensors: Cyclops Smartlink system for rig load visualization.
  • Communication and safety: VHF, AIS transponder, antennas, and backup GPS.
  • Power: Solbian flexible solar panels, Mastervolt lithium bank, Victron MPPT charge controller, and Blue Sea distribution.
  • Comfort and backup: Mantagua LED lighting, USB-C outlets, ventilation, Skysat wake-up kit, and backup autopilot.

TheMini 6.50 PGN Ocean Racing is a Mini 6.50 foiling prototype designed bySam Manuard and built byJPS Production (La Trinité-sur-Mer) for American skipper Peter Gibbons-Neff Jr. Fifth in the Manuard prototype line after Nicomatic, it aims for fully airborne downwind handling while remaining manageable single-handed.

Launch in spring 2026, two seasons of tuning then target Mini Transat 2027 (La Rochelle–Canaries–Salvador de Bahia, approximately 4,000 nautical miles solo).
