The Cherbourg sailor who has won in the RORC on JPK for ten years

Louis-Marie Dussere has been racing under IRC since 2014 on the Royal Ocean Racing Club circuit, first with a JPK 10.10 and then since 2017 with the JPK 10.80Raging-Bee²(Jacques Valer / JPK Composites). Based at the Yacht Club de Cherbourg, he races with a reduced crew, mainly in IRC 3 and IRC Two-Handed, and he wins — right from his first season.

2014-2015: the JPK 10.10 decade

First RORC season in 2014 with the JPK 10.10Raging Bee (FRA 38902): wins the RORC Season's Points Championship in IRC Threeand in Two-Handed, followed by a victory at the Morgan Cup in IRC Double and IRC 3. The year 2015 confirms it: RORC Two-Handed champion, 2nd overall in the Season's Points, class wins at the RORC Caribbean 600, the Myth of Malham (Cowes-Eddystone-Cowes), the De Guigand Bowl (1st Double, 4th overall), and the RORC Cherbourg Race — won by 16 seconds. At the Rolex Fastnet, 5th in Double-Handed with Eric Leroi.

2017: switch to the JPK 10.80

Launch of the JPK 10.80Raging-Bee² in 2017 (designed by Jacques Valer, built by JPK Composites). Same focus: IRC 3, Two-Handed, and the classic RORC races. In 2021, he wins IRC 3 at the RORC Cowes-Dinard-Saint-Malo with a crew of four — Bruno James, Éric Le Roi, Hugues Dorrière, Arthur Richer.

Regular racing on the RORC circuit (Channel races, Fastnet, Cherbourg) withRaging-Bee², one of the most prepared JPK 10.80s in the fleet. Recurring crew members: Bruno James, Éric Le Roi. Skysat preparation.
