Madintec: Autopilot and Racing Electronics
Madintec is a French specialist in autopilot systems for racing sailboats, fast multihulls, and technically demanding architectures. The range includes MAD Brain components, linear actuator controllers, interfaces, sensors, remote controls, and software modules required to build a consistent autopilot chain. Skysat supports the integration of these solutions on board, from sensor selection to bus consistency, power supply, actuator, and monitoring.
MAD Brain Architecture
The MAD Brain Box processor centralizes navigation data and controls advanced system functions. Paired with the MAD Controller, analog, digital, and mast interfaces, it allows connection of existing boat sources while preparing an architecture suited to offshore racing constraints and performance refits.
Sensors, Controls, and Software
The collection includes attitude, position, and rudder angle sensors, wired or wireless remote controls, and Madintec software options: autopilot, wind, super-pilot modes, and safety functions. These elements ensure input data reliability and adapt the autopilot behavior to the navigation program.
