The "MW" designation stands for "Mega Wide," indicating an expanded coverage area suitable for cruisers and fishermen traveling long distances. This chart is supplied on a microSD/SD card, integrating complete vector data from official hydrographic sources.
Advanced navigation features
The C-MAP MAX chartplotter provides precise and up-to-date cartographic details, including depth zones and contours, spot soundings, navigation aids (NavAids), light sectors, wrecks, obstructions, and small-craft facilities. It also integrates tide and current data, with projections of water level and direction, as well as weather forecasts, current direction, and strength. This data is essential for route planning and fishing activities. The product is compatible with B&G, Simrad, and Lowrance chartplotters.
Enhanced planning and safety
The chartplotter includes detailed marina plans, with thousands of marinas, mooring spaces, and regulated zones. The C-Marina database provides classified information such as opening hours, facilities, and contact details. Thousands of aerial photos of marinas, ports, and coves are available for better situational awareness. The depth shading function allows differentiation of water depths and setting a safety depth or custom shading. The Guardian Alarm system automatically checks for obstacles ahead, while Route-Check flags hazards along planned routes. Easy Routing automatically plots the shortest and safest route based on detailed cartographic data and vessel information, flagging shoals, sandbanks, and submerged rocks. A 45-degree perspective view provides an aerial perspective of the navigation area. The chartplotter also includes points of interest (POIs) and road mapping, and supports over 140 languages. Free online updates are often included for 12 months.
