The 17" Multitouch touchscreen FURUNO HD17T22MMD-MA1FOGP is designed for professional marine navigation. Part of the X Series, this display offers a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and a brightness of 350 cd/m², ensuring clear visualization of information. Its design allows for flush mounting, optimizing integration into helm consoles.

Display technology and interactivity

Featuring LCD TFT Active-Matrix technology with LED backlighting, the HD17T22MMD-MA1FOGP integrates a multipoint touchscreen (multitouch) based on projected capacitive technology (PCAP). This interface provides responsive and precise interaction, suitable for marine environments. The display can show various video sources, including security cameras, DVD players, and HDTV receivers.

Connectivity and power

This marine display offers multiple video connectivity options, including video inputs (DVI-D). A VGA output port (D-SUB 15-pin) is also present for video pass-through to another monitor. Power is provided by dual input, accepting 24VDC and 115/230VAC, with automatic switching for redundancy. The front of the display is IP66 rated and the rear IP22, ensuring protection against water spray and dust. The LCD and glass are bonded to prevent fogging.

Advanced features

The FURUNO HD17T22MMD-MA1FOGP offers customizable display modes such as Picture-In-Picture (PIP) and Split-Screen Picture By Picture (PBP) for multitasking. Integrated "Full Glass Display Controls" (GDC) with two programmable "Hot Keys" provide quick access to essential functions. This display is compatible with NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 black box systems, allowing use as a primary or secondary display.
