Platinum+ Chart Bay of Biscay (microSD/SD)

Designed for coastal and offshore navigation, the FURUNO BAY OF BISCAY (MICROSD/SD) Navionics Platinum+ mapping provides detailed data for the Bay of Biscay. This MicroSD/SD card is compatible with Furuno GPS/WAAS chartplotters and fishfinders, including GP-1871F/1971F v4.0 models. It supplies nautical information for the European Atlantic coast, extending from Dunkerque (France) to La Coruña (Spain), and covers the Channel Islands as well as ports such as Le Havre, Brest, Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, Bordeaux, Bilbao, and Gijón.

Integrated Navionics Features

The card includes essential Navionics features for navigation, fishing, and cruising. The Nautical Chart provides critical chart details, including harbor plans, safe depth contours, maritime services, and navigation aids. The SonarChart™ HD Bathymetry displays detailed seabed structure with contours down to 0.5 meters (1 foot), optimized for fishing and navigation. Community Edits integrate local information, while Dock-to-Dock Route Guidance automatically generates the shortest and safest route based on chart data and vessel information. The SonarChart™ Live Mapping feature enables real-time creation of custom HD bathymetric maps. Advanced Map Options allow customization of display settings, including contour density adjustments or defining specific fishing zones. The Plotter Sync function facilitates wireless transfer of routes, markers, and chart updates between the chartplotter card and the Navionics Boating app. Finally, Daily Updates provide continuous updates on coastlines, bathymetry, notices to mariners, and navigation aids (requires an active subscription).

The Platinum+ version of this mapping offers additional features. Relief Shading provides high-resolution shading of underwater relief for better understanding of seabed topography. Satellite Imagery with SonarChart™ Shading Overlay combines satellite imagery with SonarChart™ shading for enhanced visual reference and situational awareness. 3-D View presents three-dimensional views of land elevation and underwater contours, while Aerial Photography includes aerial photographs of ports and marinas to assist with navigation and docking.
