Detailed description
Detailed description
The Fusion Apollo™ MS-WB675 marine stereo source is a screenless audio unit designed for discreet integration aboard vessels. This "hideaway" system optimizes space on the helm console or in pilotage areas by installing the unit in hidden compartments while providing full audio management via compatible multifunction displays (MFD), smart devices, or Fusion wired remotes.
Advanced integration and connectivity
With compact dimensions of 130 x 130 x 56 mm (5.1 x 5.1 x 2.2 inches) and a weight of 475 g (16.75 oz), the MS-WB675 fits easily into various spaces. It operates on a 10.8 to 16 VDC power supply and features an integrated class D amplifier, stable at 2 ohms, capable of delivering a peak power of 280 watts. The nominal output power is 26 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (14.4 V) and 43 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms (14.4 V). Its operating temperature range is 0 to 50 °C.
Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth® (range up to 10 m / 30 ft), ANT® (range up to 3 m / 10 ft), and Wi-Fi (via Ethernet connection to a wireless router, Garmin MFD, or Apollo Series stereo network). For wired connectivity, it integrates NMEA 2000® (network LEN: 1 (50 mA)), an Ethernet port, a rear USB 2.0 port, an AUX input (RCA), and a digital optical input (SPDIF). It is also SiriusXM Ready (requires a SiriusXM Connect satellite tuner, sold separately) and includes an AM/FM tuner.
Multi-zone audio management and PartyBus™ technology
The Fusion Apollo™ MS-WB675 supports management of four distinct audio zones, two of which are internally amplified. Pre-amplified RCA outputs (left, right, and subwoofer) are available for all four zones, requiring external amplification for non-amplified zones. PartyBus™ technology enables distribution and synchronization of audio playback across multiple connected Apollo stereo systems on the same network, ensuring a consistent sound experience throughout the boat.
Fusion’s digital signal processing (DSP) optimizes audio quality at all volume levels, with adjustable preconfigured profiles via the free Fusion-Link™ app. Software updates can be performed wirelessly (over-the-air) via the free Fusion-Link app or via USB. The unit supports MP3, AAC, M4A, and FLAC formats, and its interface is available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, and Spanish. It can adjust audio volume based on boat speed via an NMEA 2000 connection with an appropriate speed sensor.
Designed to the True-Marine™ standard, it is tested for protection against salt fog, temperature, vibration, and UV rays, and comes with a 3-year warranty. To achieve IPX2 protection, the unit must be mounted on a vertical surface with connectors facing downward.
